The Understring Fret Dressing Files are designed to allow recrowning and touching up of frets without removing the strings. These files are custom made to work efficiently under playing conditions, providing accuracy and saving time. They feature 300-grit diamond abrasives and come in three different angles (10, 20, and 30 degrees) to reach the entire fret from ends to center. The stainless steel construction and knurled handles offer precise control for shaping and crowning frets. Each file measures 5" in length and 1/4" in diameter, and they can be used with strings on or off. The files are also suitable for stainless-steel fretwire.
