Gauged Nut Slotting File Set for Electric Guitar


This set contains six files for accurate string slot cutting on electric guitars.

High - Quality Files

Made of stainless steel with 4" twin cutting edges, these tempered edge - cut files create right - angled grooves in nuts and saddles. Use with mini round - bar files for round - bottom slots, ensuring proper string seating and no buzzing.


Files are sold individually too.

File - String Gauge Match

Choose a file same or slightly wider than the string. Rock the file to widen slots. The Nut File Backer, available in narrow and wide models, makes file use easier for straighter cuts.
