Fret Setter

The Fret Setter is a 5 - inch long brass tool that can reseat loose fret ends without restringing the guitar. Its 3/8" contact surface, which fits over the fret crown, allows for quick reseating of loose fret ends by simply tapping with a hammer. It's also useful for hand - pressing a loose fret end while superglue dries. Available for jumbo and medium fretwires, it works on stainless frets as well. All tools, including this one, are suitable for stainless - steel fretwire, and shop experience shows it doesn't cause early wear on files or sandpapers despite stainless being harder than traditional nickel - silver blends.
