Description
Our Precision Straightedges are specifically designed for accurately checking neck straightness and relief, evaluating truss rod adjustments, and identifying high or low frets on any fretted instrument, ranging from mandolins to guitars and basses. They serve the purpose of precise fretting and neck evaluation.

These straightedges come in four different lengths:

  • 12" x 1.5" x 0.079" (304mm x 38.1mm x 2mm)
  • 18" x 1.5" x 0.079" (457mm x 38.1mm x 2mm)
  • 24" x 1.6" x 0.118" (609mm x 40.6mm x 3mm)
  • 36" x 1.6" x 0.118" (914mm x 40.6mm x 3mm)

The narrow beveled edge enables easy and accurate observation of the gap between the edge and the surface being inspected. Constructed from ultra-high-grade stainless steel with a satin finish, each straightedge is precision-machined to ensure an accuracy of ±.0015" per foot.

They are not only suitable for tasks related to musical instruments but also ideal for laying out projects on wood or paper and for setting up table saws, jointers, and other shop equipment.

Manufactured through various process, these straightedges are extremely precise and heavy-duty, designed to withstand a lifetime of use in your workshop. Before shipment, each one is individually inspected at the factory.
