These improved fretboard guards offer a better fit for all fretwire sizes on guitars, basses, banjos, mandolins, and ukuleles. The set for guitar includes 6 guards with slot widths of 0.070", 0.097", and 0.125" (1.78mm, 2.46mm, and 3.18mm) to accommodate narrow, medium, and wide frets. The bass set includes 4 guards with medium and wide slots. The guards have a slim profile to fit between all frets, including high ones, and feature notches for securing with a rubber band. Made from durable 0.010" stainless steel, they protect the fretboard during filing and polishing.
Guitar guards measure 3-1/8" x 5/8" (79.38mm x 15.88mm) with a slot length of 2.625" (66.68mm).
Bass guards measure 3-1/2" x 7/8" (88.90mm x 22.23mm) with medium and wide slots of varying lengths.
